Dan and Dino have offered Triberr members a way to create branded tweets using their own name on an app they create themselves and then connect through Triberr. It is still in it’s very early testing stages and there are sometimes problems.
If you discover that tweets don’t seem to be sending, follow these steps and see if it will correct it. It seems to work for most people.
Go to your Triberr Settings up in the right corner on the blue navigation bar.
Once you go into settings choose Twitter Settings on the left side.
You should see a grey button below your twitter account that says ‘Manage Branded Twitter App”. Press that.
A box will pop up that contains your consumer key and consumer secret which you should have put there when you created the Twitter Developer App. Verify that they are both appearing and click save. You must click save. Even if everything looks fine and normal.
Another box will pop telling you that you can now authorize your Branded Twitter App. Do that by clicking the ‘Use Branded App.’.
Now you wait until a tweet has gone through at its scheduled time to verify whether or not it worked.

This is how exactly I troubleshoot my Twitter Developer App for Triberr but it keeps on reverting back to default “sent by Triberr” every once in a while.
There is some sort of a connection issue between twitter and Triberr and it seems to be at the twitter end. It also seems to have some kind of connection to “refreshing” your twitter (follower count or whatever) on Triberr. We are still working on trying to figure out why it keeps happening. In the meantime, you can just go back into your settings and refresh it when you notice it has reverted back.
Those two boxes are blank on my page. I’ve had two friends trying to add me to their tribes and I’m lost. If I click through their twitter link, then it tries to add me as never being a member of Triberr.

Sounds like they are sending the wrong kinda of invite – you should not receive one via twitter when you’re already a member. The person trying to invite you should be searching for you on triberr first. Find you, then there is an invite to tribe spot right there on the page and they can use that.
YOU will find your tribe invite by clicking on Home on the blue navigation bar – then on the left side, you’ll see My Invites. That’s where any invites will be if they are sent correctly.
